۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
