Say: 'I call only upon my Lord, and I do not associate with Him anyone. 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct." 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 excepting a Deliverance from God and His Messages. And whoso rebels against God and His messenger, for him there awaits the Fire of Gehenna; therein they shall dwell forever.' 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers 27 that He may know they have delivered the Messages of their Lord; and He encompasses all that is with them, and He has numbered everything in numbers.' 28
