Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
