Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
