The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
