3/4 Hizb 45

Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
