The food of the Zakkum tree 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
