AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
