The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
