And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
