We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
