And man saith: when I am daed, Shall I be presently brought forth alive. 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
