The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
