We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
