He built it, 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
