The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
