And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
