▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
