The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
