The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
