So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamin (mankind, and jinns) [during the time of Musa (Moses)] with knowledge, 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Indeed the Day of Decision is the appointment for all of them. 40 The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
