Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them. Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day): 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. 23
