The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
