THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
