And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth! 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba' and those who came before them? We destroyed them, because they were guilty of sin. 37 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport: 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
