The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 Master of the Day of Judgment, 4 You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
