'Aad denied the messengers 123 When their brother Hud said to them: "Will you not take heed? 124 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 125 So fear God and listen to me. 126 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 127 "Do you build useless monuments on every mountain 128 and do you take to you castles, haply to dwell forever? 129 When you assault, you assault like tyrants! 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 And fear He who provided you with that which you know, 132 Provided you with grazing livestock and children 133 And orchards and springs. 134 "Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day." 135 They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. 136 This is but a fable of the men of old, 137 “And we will not be punished.” 138 In this there is evidence (of the Truth), yet most of them do not have any faith. 139 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 140
