Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
