Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
