And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
