No! By the moon 32 By the receding night 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Almighty God's Truth.
