And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
