And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
