۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
