Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
