Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
