▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
