▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
