Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
