Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
59 verses, revealed in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 By oath of this clear Book. 2 We have indeed sent it down in a blessed night indeed it is We Who warn. 3 (We revealed it on the Night) wherein every matter is wisely determined 4 By a command from Us indeed it is We Who send. 5 A mercy from thy Lord. Lo! He, even He is the Hearer, the Knower, 6 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you (but) have a faith with certainty. 7 There is no worship except for Him He gives life and causes death; your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers. 8 Nay, but they [who lack inner certainty] are but dying with their doubts. 9 Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible, 10 That will envelop the people. This will be a painful punishment. 11 Lord, remove this torment from us for we are believers". 12 How could this punishment bring them to their senses when a Messenger evidently had come to them, 13 Whereas they had then turned away from him and said, “He is a madman, tutored!”? 14 [Still,] behold, We shall postpone this suffering for a little while, although you are bound to revert [to your evil ways: but] 15 The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution. 16 ۞ And before them We indeed tried the people of Firaun, and an Honourable Noble Messenger came to them. 17 "Send the servants of God with me. I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 18 Do not think yourselves to be above God: I have come to you with clear authority. 19 And surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me to death: 20 If you do not want to believe, leave me alone". 21 He therefore prayed to his Lord, “These are a guilty nation!” 22 "Journey by night with My devotees," (it was said); "you will certainly be pursued. 23 Then leave the sea calm they are an army that will be drowned. 24 How many were the gardens and the watersprings that they left behind, 25 sown fields, and how noble a station, 26 And comforts of life wherein they used to take delight! 27 That is what We did; and We made another nation their heirs. 28 Neither heaven nor earth shed tears for them; nor were they respited, 29

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
