The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
