۞ And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me." 51 And whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and to Him should obedience be (rendered) constantly; will you then guard against other than (the punishment of) Allah? 52 Every bounty that you enjoy is from Allah; and whenever any misfortune strikes you, it is to Him that you cry for the removal of your distress. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 that they may show ingratitude for the bounties We bestowed upon them. So enjoy yourselves for a while, soon you will come to know (the truth). 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 They assign daughters to Allah - glory be to Him - whereas they assign to themselves what they truly desire! 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 [Thus it is that] the attribute of evil applies to all who do not believe in the life to come - whereas unto God applies the attribute of all that is most sublime: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 60
