The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 And who keep aloof from what is vain, 3 And they who are observant of zakah 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants; 8 And those who keep a guard on their prayers; 9 These are the heirs 10 Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 Thereafter We made him of a sperm in a receptacle safe. 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 And then you will certainly die, 15 Then surely on the day of resurrection you shall be raised. 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 Also, a tree which grows on the Tor of Sinai and gives oil and relish for its eaters. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 and you ride on them as you do in ships. 22
