The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and shade extended, 30 and flowing water 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For those on the right. 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
