The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 He has created cattle for you: from them you derive food and clothing and numerous other benefits; 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
