And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
