The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
