The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 And who softly release the soul. (Of the believer) 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And the second followeth it, 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 and say: "Will you purify yourself, 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26
