AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 But when they had gone farther, he said to his servant: Bring to us our morning meal, certainly we have met with fatigue from this our journey. 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
