Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 And the true promise shall draw nigh, then lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be fixedly open: O woe to us! surely we were in a state of heedlessness as to this; nay, we were unjust. 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 Had the idols been true lords, they would not have gone to hell. "All of you will live therein forever". 99 They will bray in it and not be able to hear anything in it. 100 [But,] behold, as for those for whom [the decree of] ultimate good has already gone forth from Us these will be kept far away from that [hell]: 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 the greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them: 'This is your day that you were promised.' 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance: 'The righteous among My worshipers shall inherit the earth' 105 Herein, surely, is a message for those devoted to worship. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: 'It is revealed unto me only that your God is One God; do you then surrender?' 108 But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far; 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
